Lasik enhancement

It is imperative for every patient and refractive surgeon to achieve faultless vision correction with just one refractive surgery procedure. Unfortunately, like any other surgery, it is difficult to foresee results of the surgery. Things gone off beam during the pre-surgical examination or during the surgery itself may necessitate Lasik enhancement. Sometimes, Lasik enhancement is done even if you expect good results following a Lasik surgery, to achieve crystal clear vision. However, only your doctors can only decide whether or not you require a lasik enhancement. This is because each case has a unique combination of variables that can affect visual outcomes.

Even though it is important that you should be able to see much better without glasses the day after the surgery, it is not abnormal for vision to fluctuate for almost three weeks. Your doctor will observe your vision for several weeks. If you still feel uncomfortable while driving or performing other visual tasks after lasik, be sure to tell your doctor. You may need an enhancement if your vision is noticeably unclear for three months after the surgery.
